Do you really stand out from other designers? Do you often find yourself bargaining over pricing with clients? Are you selling truly high-value projects?
Chances are, you’re like many other UI designers out there.
Not knowing where your next paycheck is coming from. Or when the next client will knock on your door. That’s how it was for me at least. And when I finally did get a new person interested in my design services, I would be afraid to quote a worthy price for my work.
“I used to be terrified to pitch projects over $3,000 – Because the quality of my pitch was not convincing, at all.”
I’d simply email the client back saying how much the project would cost. And then they would say yes or no. But mostly no. I realized I had to drastically change my approach and started developing a sales process that actually worked.
